No Limits Build is and has been one of my favorite builds to install on my jailbroken Fire TV Stick running Kodi. Now there is a version for Kodi 18.0 Leia ALPHA. Some of you might have tried to install it on the ALPHA build of Kodi 18.0. You will have noticed that it doesn’t install very well, if at all. Kodi has disabled the file unzip feature on Leia 18.0 ALPHA. This breaks the mechanism by which a build downloads and installs.
Luckily, the folks over a Wonderbox have released a working version of Kodi 18.0 Leia ALPHA. It’s called Wonderbox Media Centre, and if you don’t already have it installed, you can follow my tutorial Working Kodi Leia 18.0 jailbreak using Wonderbox.tv Media Center on Fire TV Devices. The installation is as easy or easier than installing Kodi.
You should strongly consider installing and using a VPN when you are connected to the Internet. Absolutely you should have a VPN before you start using Kodi or any other streaming media applications. Not only are hackers always lurking around, but your ISP and even your own government are watching your Internet activity. You can eliminate all these threats and more by installing and using a VPN. I recommend IPVanish VPN service. IPVanish is a top-rated VPN service and I use it on all my devices and the devices of all my clients. Once you have installed Wonderbox, open it up.
You will see that the interface looks almost exactly the same as Kodi 17.6 Krypton. They still use the Estuary skin as the default skin. Go ahead and click on the little gear icon in the upper left-hand side of the screen to access the Settings menu.
On the Settings screen, select File Manager
In the file manager, you will want to select Add Source
This brings up a dialog box where you can enter the details for an external source. In this case, we are going to add the URL for the website where we can download the No Limits Build Wizard zip file. Click on <None>
After clicking <None>, another screen will come up where you can type the URL. In the area provided, type the following Web address exactly like this: http://nolimitsbuilds.com/kodi and then click OK.
You will be sent back to the previous screen. You will see an area below that says “Enter a name for this media source.” It will already say kodi in there, but you can change it to whatever you like. I will just leave it as kodi for the purposes of this tutorial. Click OK.
You will see that the source has been added to the file manager and it is called kodi.
Click the Back button on your remote one time and you will see the main Setting menu again. This time, select Add-ons
You will see a menu with several options for dealing with Add-ons. We want to install an Add-on from a zip file. So, click on Install from zip file.
You will be asked for the location of the zip file. In this case, it is in the source we just added in the previous steps called kodi.
After choosing kodi, you will see that it opens up and there are a couple zip files. One zip file is for Kodi 18.0 and the other is for Kodi 17.6. Obviously, we will be picking the zip file for Kodi 18.0. Choose the zip file named plugin.video.nolimitswizard18.zip and then click OK.
The No Limits Wizard will begin installing. It could take some time. Wait until you see the notification in the upper right-hand corner of the screen that says the Add-on has been installed successfully.
After installation of the No Limits Wizard, the wizard will run automatically. If you already have a build installed and you want to keep some things, you can select those things here. Normally, you will only have to click Continue. And that is what I will do here.
After clicking Continue, the No Limits Wizard will ask you if you want to just continue without doing anything, or if you would like to go the Build Menu. We want to install a build, so let’s go to the Build Menu.
The build menu gives you a lot of choices. If you have a Fire TV or other device with plenty of memory, you might choose one of the standard builds. While if you are using a device with limited memory such as a Fire TV Stick, you can choose the Firestick editions that, while fully functional, contain a smaller set of add-ons. You can also select whether you want the adult add-ons installed or not. Even more, there are several servers that each contain the same set of build options, so if one server is slow or isn’t working, you can pick a different server. In this case, I am using a Jailbroken Firestick, so I want to choose the Firestick edition and I want to install the adult add-ons.
After choosing the build you want to install and clicking on it, you will be given the option of doing a FRESH INSTALL, which wipes your Kodi installation first and then installs, or a STANDARD INSTALL that leaves your current build in place and installs No Limits Build overtop the existing build. I DO NOT recommend doing a STANDARD INSTALL. For best results, always do a FRESH INSTALL.
After clicking on FRESH INSTALL, you will be asked to confirm that you want to wipe everything an install the No Limits Build. Click on Continue
No Limits Build will begin downloading
Then it will start extracting the zip file and installing the build. This is where the installation fails when using Kodi 18.0 Leia ALPHA instead of Wonderbox media center 18.0 ALPHA.
Once the installation is finished, you have the choice of Reload Profile or Force Close Wonderbox. I always recommend using the Force Close method.
Wonderbox will close and you will be back on the home screen of your Fire TV device. Open Wonderbox again to see your new build.
No Limits Build uses the Aeon Nox :SiLVO mod skin as the default skin. It’s a highly configurable skin that looks amazing. All the backgrounds are high-resolution and look great on any size display. Personally, I always change it to the default Estuary skin, just because I just like it better. But no matter what skin you choose, No Limits Build has everything you need to get the media you want.
