Titanium TV is the New Terrarium TV

I don’t think anyone will dispute that Terrarium TV was the hottest streaming media application for your jailbroken Fire TV or Fire Stick.  I personally used it as my main source of media, even while testing a lot of other great streaming apps out there.  I always liked the interface as it seemed easy to use and learn, which is important because I installed Terrarium TV for a lot of people, and it saved me the headache of having to teach them some heavy software.  The only other app that I found that is a major contender to Terrarium TV is Stremio.  I have been installing Stremio for some of my friends and they really like it as well. If you want to learn to install Stremio, follow my article Install Stremio on Jailbroken Amazon Fire TV Stick.

Unfortunately, the Terrarium TV app that we all grew to depend on finally went away.  But there are a ton of Terrarium TV “forks” out there that offer the same great functionality and ease-of-use as Terrarium TV.  One of those apps that I ran across recently is called Titanium TV.  It is identical to Terrarium TV in almost every way and works exactly the same.  I’m going to show you how to install Titanium TV on your Fire TV or Fire Stick so you can get up and watching movies and TV series quickly and easily.

As always, make sure you have your VPN installed and running before attempting to use any of the apps mentioned in this article.  Using apps such as these can expose your IP address to the public and increase your risk of being spied on or having your network probed, etc.  Don’t risk it.  I always use IPVanish VPN service and I install it for all my clients to be sure they have a safe, fast and private streaming experience.  If you don’t already have IPVanish, now is the time to jump on this deal.  I have negotiated an exclusive 57% discount for all my KodiAmerica.com readers.  This is a great opportunity to get your Fire TV device secured so that you can stream the content you want with peace of mind.

As usual, the Titanium TV app is available in my KodiAmerica.com Jailbreak App Vault.  If you already have the App Vault installed, you can continue reading.  If you still don’t have it installed, please follow my tutorial How to Install the Kodiamerica.com Jailbreak App Vault.

Installing Titanium TV

Click on the icon for the KodiAmerica.com Jailbreak App Vault.  It will be in your apps and the icon looks like this.

If you have already been using the Jailbreak App Vault, then our code will already be entered into the code field.  Check to be sure it is correct, and if it isn’t, then enter the code 47356537

Once you are sure the code is correct, press CONTINUE to enter the KodiAmerica.com Jailbreak App Vault.

You will see Titanium TV on the list. Click on the download icon and Titanium TV will begin downloading.

You can see the download progress.

When the download has completed, the download icon changes to an install icon.  Click on the install icon to begin installing Titanium TV

You will be shown the list of permissions that Titanium TV requires.  Scroll down until you see the option to install and click Install

Titanium TV will begin installing

When Titanium TV is finished installing, select Done and click on it.

You will be back at the Jailbreak App Vault apps list screen again.  Press the back button on your Fire TV remote to exit out of the app list screen.  You will be asked if you want to leave.  Click Yes

Now, back at the Jailbreak App Vault code screen, use your Fire TV remote to move up to the top of the screen and click on the little trash can icon up at the top right.

You will be asked if you want to empty the trash.  Click Yes

Then click the back button again to completely exit the KodiAmerica.com Jailbreak App Vault.  Press the home button on your remote to go back to the home screen of your Amazon Fire TV device.  Then long-press the home button again like you did before and choose apps.  Let’s go back to the apps screen and look for Titanium TV.  It will most likely be at the bottom of the list because you installed it last.

Let’s move it up to the top.  While the Titanium TV icon is selected, long press the SELECT button on your remote.  It’s the big button in the center. You will see a message come up on the screen that tells you to press SELECT again to drop the icon where you want it.

Move the icon up to the top and then press SELECT to drop it there.

Now, if you go back to the Home screen on your Amazon Fire TV device, you will see Titanium TV in the front of the list under YOUR APPS & CHANNELS

Go ahead and click on it to open up Titanium TV and click OK on the Changelog screen

Then you will be asked to select which player you want to use.  If you have already been using Titanium TV you probably already have MX Player installed, so select MX Player.  If you don’t have MX Player installed already, then you can install it from the Kodiamerica.com Jailbreak App Vault as well.

Once you have selected the player, you will be asked to accept the Disclaimer.  Click Accept to continue.

Now, let’s change a few settings to make things a little nicer.  Go into the settings of Titanium TV and scroll down until you see Login to Trakt.tv.  If you have a Trakt.tv account, go ahead and get logged in.  Click on Login to Trakt.tv and follow the on-screen instructions.  If you don’t have a Trakt.tv account, I would strongly suggest creating a free account on their website.  Trakt.tv is the best tool for keeping your favorites and watched history in the cloud so you will never lose it if you have to reinstall again.

Next, continue scrolling down until you see Hide reCaptcha verification message and make sure that it is CHECKED

Continue scrolling down until you reach the subtitles section.  Select your subtitles language.  English is already enabled by default.  You can have more than one subtitle language.  Select as many as you need.  You can also turn subtitles off by deselecting all subtitle languages.

Then uncheck the two checkboxes to turn off the Chinese subtitles.  Unless you want Chinese subtitles.

Once you have all the settings straight, click the back button on your remote to go back to the Titanium TV home screen.

That is it!  You can now use Titanium TV to watch all your favorite HD streams.  If you loved Terrarium TV, you won’t miss a thing with Titanium TV.

Don’t forget that you should be using a VPN whenever you are connected to the Internet.
