How to Watch Coco on Kodi

One of the hottest animated movies so far this year, Coco is a must-see for kids and adults alike.  Coco is the first-ever motion picture with a multi million dollar budget to ever feature a completely Latino cast.  This fantastic animation is set in Mexico during the celebration Dia de Muertos, or Day of the Dead.  In the fictitious town of Santa Cecilia, Mexico, a young boy named Miguel, growing up in a household where music is forbidden, longs to play the guitar.  Needless to say, much excitement ensues as he tries to prove his playing ability and his musical heritage.  We highly recommend that you go to the theater to see this beautiful animated movie. But if you won’t or can’t, then we can at least show you how to do it safely.  But be sure you support your local cinemas so that we can continue to see great works like Coco.

We do not condone the streaming of movies illegally.

Your IP is: Your Connection

Stop your ISP and your government from spying on your activity.  Use a VPN to protect your privacy.  A VPN is an essential tool when you are using any free or low-cost streaming application or service.  Especially if you are using a jailbroken Fire TV or Fire Stick or Android box.  ALWAYS use a VPN if you want the best streaming experience, the best selection of media and don't want your ISP to slow you down or shut you down.  I recommend IPVanish VPN for all my clients and I use it on all my devices.

For this tutorial, we will use the Placenta Add-On.  This is a fork of the famous Exodus Add-on for KodiExodus Add-On may have died, but it left behind children.  We here at Kodi America have taken a liking to the Placenta Add-On.  It’s a great Exodus fork with fast providers.  Placenta Add-On is available from many different sources that come and go.  Your best bet is to install one of the great Kodi Builds that include this Add-On.  Almost all Kodi Builds include either the Exodus Add-On the Covenant Add-On, or one of the Exodus forks.  If your Kodi installation already has an Exodus fork installed, then the steps are still the same, as most have the same menu structure.  The skin used in this tutorial is Estuary.  So, your skin may look different.  Anyway, here we go.

Open the Placenta Add-On from the Kodi Main Screen

Once you are there, select and click on Movies

Select Genres

Select Animation

You will see the movie right up there at the top

Click on the movie and it will search through the providers list

Then, depending on your settings, the movie will either play automatically, or you will be asked to pick it from the list of providers found.  I prefer using Auto-Play for one-click play.

You could, alternatively, choose People Watching.  This list shows what movies are popular AT THE MOMENT.  As opposed to the Most Popular category, which lists all-time most popular movies, like The Godfather. People Watching is an awesome search feature, and I use it a lot when I’m not sure what kind of movie I’m in the mood for.  Black Panther is most definitely listed high on the People Watching list.

You will see that Coco is second on the list of People Watching.
