How to use with Kodi Add-Ons

If you are like me, and you like to try out different add-ons and applications, often on different Fire TV or Fire Stick devices, it can be difficult to keep track of what movies you have watched. is a free service that is supported by many different applications and add-ons such as Terrarium TV and Poached Add-On for Kodi.

Your IP is: Your Connection

Stop your ISP and your government from spying on your activity.  Use a VPN to protect your privacy.  A VPN is an essential tool when you are using any free or low-cost streaming application or service.  Especially if you are using a jailbroken Fire TV or Fire Stick or Android box.  ALWAYS use a VPN if you want the best streaming experience, the best selection of media and don't want your ISP to slow you down or shut you down.  I recommend IPVanish VPN for all my clients and I use it on all my devices.

For this tutorial, I want to show you how easy it is to get up and running with so you can have the best experience possible with your streaming media system.

I will be using the Poached Add-On for Kodi.  Poached is a fork of the popular Covenant Add-On, and functions in almost the exact same manner.

If you don’t already have the Poached Add-On installed, you can follow these same instructions for most any application or Kodi Add-On.  If you want to install the Poached Add-On, check out my article How to Install Poached Add-On for Kodi.

In order to use, you need to have an account.  Head on over to their homepage at and get set up.

Once you have your account set up over there, let’s go into Kodi and open up the Poached Add-On

Scroll down and click on Tools

At the bottom of the Tools menu, you will see TRAKT: Authorize.  Click on that

You will be presented with a screen with a code and instructions to go to  Head over to that URL in a web browser.

There is only one thing you can do at that page, and that is to enter the code provided by Poached.  Enter the code and click Continue.

You will see a graphical representation of what you are trying to do.  If everything looks OK, then click YES

As soon as you click YES on the website, the Poached Add-On for Kodi will instantly recognize that you have authorized it, and you will see a screen like this.  I blurred out my username, but you should see your username there.

Once you have authorized with your Poached Add-On, your watched history will synchronize.  Here you will see that there are check marks next to my watched movies.  My favorites were also synchronized at the same time.

Keeping track of all your favorite TV shows and watched episodes and movies can be a hassle, especially if you like trying out different applications.  The first thing I do when I install a new app or Kodi add-on is to synchronize it with  Each individual application does a pretty good job of keeping track of which movies or TV shows you have watched within that particular app, but if you reinstall the app, or switch between different apps, it’s impossible to properly track them all without using a service like

Always Protect Yourself With A VPN

I can’t stress enough the importance of using a VPN when you are using the Internet.  Especially if you are streaming movies and TV shows using Kodi or any other Internet streaming applications.  Your Internet provider, the government and hackers can easily track your usage and use that information against you in a lot of nefarious ways.  I consider the use of a VPN to be MANDATORY if you are using the Internet in this day and age.  Every kid is a hacker and every government is spying and every ISP is watching.

I have negotiated an incredible 57% discount on IPVanish VPN Service for my readers here at  IPVanish continues to be a valuable tool in my privacy toolkit and I wouldn’t dream of connecting to the Internet without it.
