Exodus continues to be the most popular third-party add-on for Kodi in spite of the numerous forks that claim to be better. Exodus forks such as Covenant, Placenta, Neptune Rising claim to offer an improved experience over the original Exodus, but that hasn’t kept Exodus from staying on top.
The development of Exodus was abandoned by the original developers and that looked like the end of the road for this awesome Kodi Add-on. But a new version has just been released and offers some great new features.

Stop your ISP and your government from spying on your activity. Use a VPN to protect your privacy. A VPN is an essential tool when you are using any free or low-cost streaming application or service. Especially if you are using a jailbroken Fire TV or Fire Stick or Android box. One of the main reasons that Exodus has been so popular is that it offers tons of ways to search as well as breaking the content down into categories such as Action, Adventure, Animation, Anime, Biography, Comedy, Crime, Documentary, Drama, Family, Fantasy, History, Horror, Music, Musical, Mystery, Romance, Science Fiction, Sport, Thriller, War, and Western. That is fairly standard for streaming apps, but Exodus also offers some unique categories such as Most Popular, Most Voted, Box Office, Oscar Winners, In Theaters, and New Movies. This will help you find just the right content to watch.
This tutorial will show you how to install Exodus 2018 version.
How to Install Exodus 2018 on Kodi
Installation of Exodus is much like the installation of any other add-on.
First, you want to add the Kodi Bae repository to Kodi. We are going to do this by using Lazy. This is a Kodi source that contains lots of other repos you can install. To get started, open Kodi and click the little gear icon to enter the Kodi System settings.
In the System Settings, you will see a section called File Manager. Click this to enter the File Manager.
The file manager is where you can access files from your local disk drive or, other media sources, such as in this case, on the Web. Click on Add Source.
Click on <None> and you will see a screen open up that allows you to enter text.
In the text field, type the following EXACTLY as you see it here.
http://lazykodi.com/ then click OK.
You will be brought back to this screen and you will see the repo name is shown. Now you want to give the media source a name. We called it lazy in this example, but you can name it whatever you want. Just remember what you called it.
Once you have the source set up in the file manager, you will install from that media source. Go back to the Kodi main screen and click on Add-ons.
Then click on the little icon of the box in the upper left-hand side of the screen.
Then select Install from zip file
Choose the media source that you added in the first steps. In my case it’s lazy
Then choose the folder called ZIPS
Then select the KODIBAE.zip file
Wait for the message to appear that the repo has been installed
On the same screen, choose Install from Repository
Then choose the Kodi Bae Repository
Choose Video add-ons
Scroll down and select Exodus
Choose Install on this screen
Exodus will install
Wait until you see the notification that the Exodus add-on has been installed
Now, you will see the Exodus icon on the home screen under Video Add-Ons.
Clicking on Exodus brings up the Exodus main menu. If you are familiar with other forks of Exodus such as Covenant, Placenta or Poached, then the main menu will be very familiar to you. If this is your first time running Exodus or one of its forks, then the menu is so intuitive that I’m sure you won’t have any problems navigating and streaming.
When using Exodus or any other streaming media software on Kodi you should be using a VPN. This is true for all your Internet usage. The world is a very different place. There are bad actors everywhere. Your ISP, the government, and hackers to name a few. Your only defense is to install a good VPN. I use and recommend IPVanish VPN service. I was able to get a great deal on IPVanish VPN for my kodiamerica.com readers.
