Galactus is a movie and TV show add-on for Kodi. As of this writing, Galactus is working great with lots of fast, working sources. This is one of my favorite add-ons for Kodi because of how fast the streams come up and play. In this tutorial, I will show you how to install Galactus add-on for Kodi in just a few simple steps.
KodiAmerica.com Quick Tip – ALWAYS use a VPN when streaming free movies and TV shows using the apps I write about on this site. Protect your privacy and security.
Installing the Galactus Add-On
Launch Kodi and click on the little settings gear icon at the top left of the home screen
Scroll over and down and click on System settings
Scroll down to Add-ons on the left menu and then be sure that Unknown sources is ENABLED in the right pane.
You will be asked if you are sure you want to enable this setting. Click Yes
Click the back button on your remote to go back to the System page
Scroll over and down and click on File manager
Click on Add source in the left-hand pane
Click where it says <None>
In the box that pops up, type the following address EXACTLY as shown – http://cerbrepo.space/repo/ then click OK
Click on the box under the source you just added and type in a name for this source. This can be any name you choose. Just remember it because we will be selecting that name in a later step. I’m going to call it ka.
Click the back button on your remote until you are on the Kodi home screen.
Scroll down to the Add-ons menu item on the left and click on it.
Click on the little open box icon at the top left of the screen. It looks like this.
Scroll down and click on Install from zip file
Choose ka or whatever name you gave the source in the previous step
Choose repository.hellhounds.zip and click OK
Wait until you see the Hellhounds Repository Add-On installed message at the top right.
Click Install From Repository
Choose Hellhounds Repository
Click Video Add-Ons
Wait for the Galactus Add-on installed message to appear at the top right of the screen.
And that’s it! The Galactus Add-on for Kodi is installed. You can access the app by going to Add-ons in the Kodi home screen menu.
Galactus Kodi Add-On Overview
The interface for Galactus is about as simple as can be. While it isn’t as beautiful as some of the other apps I have written about such as Stremio, BeeTV, TeaTV or the like, it still offers plenty of nice categories on the home screen to get you started. The main menu is shown below.
Currently, Galactus is operating extremely fast and the source links are very reliable. Many of the links are Google or RapidVideo links which always provide a fast, solid streaming experience.
